2009-2010 HOT LUNCH PROGRAM

The 2009-2010 Hot Lunch Program will be offered during the months of October through May.  Lunches will be offered Monday through Friday of each week.  The vendors, menu information, and pricing are shown on the order form online.

Orders and payments are accepted online through Lunch Works.  NEW THIS YEAR--If you wish to order hot lunches, you must create your own user account in Lunch Works. THIS MAY BE DONE ANY TIME DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.  Instructions are listed below.  The Lunch Works system will be open each month from the first through the fifteenth to accept lunch orders for the following month.  Click here to access Lunch Works. 


POLICIES
  • Lunch orders will only be accepted when the Lunch Works system is open from the first through the fifteenth of each month.
  • CREDITS AND/OR REFUNDS FOR LUNCHES ORDERED WILL NOT BE GIVEN if your student is absent for any reason, including field trips.  If a class returns from a field trip on a day that lunches were ordered, the lunches will be delivered to the classroom and distributed to the students upon their return. 




CREATING A USER ACCOUNT

Read all instructions before accessing Lunch Works


  • Once in Lunch Works (link below), Click on Create a New Account.
  • Fill in all fields, choosing your own User ID and Password.  IMPORTANT - Please fill in the e-mail address field so that if you forget your User ID or Password, you can have it automatically sent to your e-mail address.
  • Fill in your first child’s name at the bottom and then choose a class from the list.  (Leave the Student I.D. number blank.)
  • Click Add Another Student, and fill in the information for your next child.
  • After all children in your family are added, click Create Account.
  • Log back into Lunch Works using your User ID and Password, and start placing lunch orders!




ONLINE ORDERING AND PAYMENT

IMPORTANT:  TURN OFF POP-UP BLOCKERS OR SET YOUR POP-UP BLOCKER TO ALLOW POP-UPS FROM THE LUNCH WORKS WEB SITE!

  • From the St. Patrick School web site, www.stpaddys.org, click on the words LUNCH PROGRAM in the column on the left.
  • Click on the words Lunch Works.
  • At the Lunch Works login screen, enter your User Name and Password and click Login.
  • Click on the words Order Form, and the calendar format order form for the entire month will appear.
  • On the upper left side of the screen, you will see a box with a list of your children.  Use the down arrow, select the child and click on the boxes for each menu item you wish to order for that child for each day of the month. 
  • If you would like to see a description any menu item, including the price, click on the question mark symbol next to the item.
  • When the items for the first child have been selected for the entire month, click on the box that says, Click here to save the orders for this child.  Follow steps 5-7 for each child in your family.
  • When the lunch orders have been saved for all of the children in your family, click on the words Check Out at the top of the screen.  The Check Out screen will show your total. 
  • Click on the box that says Pay Now.
  • At the bottom of the screen, you will have two choices: ACH-Electronic Check or Visa/Mastercard.  Click on one of the choices, and click Continue.

IF YOU CHOOSE ACH-ELECTRONIC CHECK:
  • Fill out the information requested (name, address, phone number, e-mail address).
  • Enter the routing number for your bank or credit union where it says ABA Routing Number. (This number can be found on the lower left corner of your check, or you can click Search and enter the name, city and state of your bank or credit union to search for the routing number.) 
  • Enter your checking account number where it says Account Number.
  • Click Continue.
  • Click I Agree.
  • You will receive a confirmation message that states Checkout Complete and will list a confirmation number and payment amount.  At this point, your lunch order is completed and paid for.  The amount will be deducted from your checking account electronically.   

IF YOU CHOOSE VISA/MASTERCARD:
  • Fill out the information requested (name, address, phone number, e-mail address).
  • Enter your credit/debit card account number where it says Credit Card Number.
  • Enter the Expiration Date.
  • Click Submit.You will receive a confirmation message that states Checkout Complete and will list a confirmation number and payment amount.  At this point, your lunch order is completed and paid for. 




PRINTING LUNCH ORDERS

After you have completed your lunch orders, you may view and print a calendar with only the items that your children ordered.  From the main screen, click on Confirmed Orders, and select the child and month you wish to view or print.
