In 1962, as a result of the efforts of Father William O'Dwyer and the support of the enthusiastic parishioners, St. Patrick Parish School opened with 181 students in grades one through seven. The school was staffed by four Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Only four classrooms were used the first year. An additional classroom was used each year for the next three years. As there was always at least one double grade, the seven classrooms were sufficient until 1969. Since that time all eight classrooms have been utilized.

In 1976, the Sisters of Charity were replaced by a complete lay staff and principal. In 1977 the Sisters of St. Clare came to the school.

In 1988, one Sister of St. Clare remained in the school while at the same time an Adrian Dominicam assumed the position of Principal. In this same year a kindergarten was added. In 1989-90, the junior high wing was built.

In 1990, St. Patrick Parish School had an enrollment of 290 students, consisting of 9 classrooms, Grades K-8. In 1995, with the support of parents and parishioners, St. Patrick Parish School began an expansion program to meet the needs of our growing parish community by adding a second kindergarten. The school then added an additional classroom each year since then to accommodate expansion.

In 2003, St. Patrick Parish School added a 2nd eighth grade class, and the school reached its planned size of two classrooms each from kindergarten through eighth grade, and an enrollment of approximately 440 students.

St. Patrick Parish School provides spiritual and moral guidance in a Catholic environment incorporating an academic program that challenges each child to reach his/her potential and prepares students to serve God and community as fully productive members of society.
