Schoolwide Learning Expectations

  A student at St. Patrick Parish School is expected to develop as a:
  1. Faith- filled Christian who:
    1. Seeks to deepen ones relationship with God.
    2. Demonstrates Christian values of care, respect, and compassion for others and self.
    3. Regularly participates in prayer and worship.
    4. Knows and practices Catholic faith.
    5. Uses talents in service to family, school, Church, and community.

  2. Responsible Citizen who:
    1. Accepts responsibility for and consequences of actions.
    2. Is respectful of social, cultural, and individual differences.
    3. Makes healthy and moral choices.
    4. Respects and values authority.
    5. Actively participates in community.

  3. Life-long Learner who:
    1. Demonstrates curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
    2. Demonstrates a strong foundation in all subjects.
    3. Applies and builds upon current technology.
    4. Uses study, research, and technology skills effectively.
    5. Appreciates the fine arts.
    6. Uses time effectively.

  4. Effective Communicator who:
    1. Actively listens.
    2. Is courteous and uses appropriate manners.
    3. Speaks and writes clearly.
    4. Expresses ideas and opinions respectfully.

  5. Well-rounded Individual who:
    1. Adapts to changing conditions.
    2. Considers alternatives when making choices.
    3. Works alone and with others to solve problems and create solutions.
    4. Respects the talents and gifts of others.


St. Patrick Parish School provides spiritual and moral guidance in a Catholic environment incorporating an academic program that challenges each child to reach his/her potential and prepares students to serve God and community as fully productive members of society.
